Programs
The program listing is ambitious and exciting, including lectures, presentations and demonstrations on a variety of wine, food, garden and arts subjects. Free programs included in the general admission are offered daily.
A Saturday in mid December will offer a discussion of a "Great Growth" with Master of Wine Joel Butler; a tasting and discussion of olives; a talk about "Victorian Christmas" with the Director of the Design Gallery at UC Davis; and a cooking demonstration and book signing with Georgeanne Brennan. The January 2002 programs will highlight the Asian influence in our cuisine. February will celebrate Carnival and Mardi Gras. I expect more offerings in the performing arts as warm weather returns. There will, quite literally, be something for everybody. Copia is extraordinary. It is a special gift to all who enjoy wine, food and the arts, and a wonderful addition to the City of Napa and the wine country. It is also a monument to the vision and wisdom of Robert Mondavi, its Founder. Copia "…will be good for the Valley, good for our children, and it can turn the Napa Valley into a world-renowned gathering place for wine makers, chefs, food lovers, and prominent artists from around the globe. It’s a noble idea and vision, and I’m pouring my heart and soul into making this center a reality. And I’m sure the result will be another enriching step in the evolution of the Napa Valley and in the quality of life and culture in America." Robert Mondavi I could not agree more. califusa COPIA:
