The Gang of Pour

Gang Mail! "I really enjoy the Gang of Pour, self-described
as an 'off-beat little wine tasting group ... not a
commercial site; we're not trying to sell anything. We
just enjoy exploring new wines, and would like to share
our experiences and tasting notes with you.' Outstanding
graphics and a great attitude make this one of the Web's
winners." Thank you very much!
"the site has been visited and i give it a 8.5.
It has a flowing tempameter which makes it bouncy and
lite, yet substantial with quality and merit. the content
is earthy yet loaded with heavenly overtones. that is the
best imitation of the bandstand i can do!!! i love the
site!!!!" Elm: Did anyone tell you that you write like a wine reviewer? But what's a tempameter?
"Hey Gang: took a brief look at your page, and
guess i'll have to add another hour or two to my daily
web browsing. Great looking web site, one I will enjoy.
Thanks!" bob: thanks for the kind words! "looking at the graphic of the bottles awaiting a
blind tasting on the Gang of Pour page it suddenly struck
me that appreciation of wine in both its highest and
lowest forms involves drinking from a bottle sheathed in
a paper bag." ...hey ken, we ain't proud!
"hello gang! We are self-confessed wine
philistines ("Is it less than $10 a bottle? Buy
it!") but we yearn to be educated. We have some 1988
and 1989 Chateaneuf du Pape's in the basement to share.
Also some Royal Oak Park 1991 Petite Syrah. Not to
mention the 1989 Olivier. Actually we just yearn to be
part of one of the top wine sites on the WWW. May we join
the gang of pour?" ...Dear Wine Philistines, that Royal Oak Park sounds really yummy. "Hey gang, good show! One of the most useful web
sites I've seen. We'll be looking for the next
update." ...Thanks Fletch! "I have seen the website, it's an old expression
but FAR OUT is a good way to decribe it..." ...Groovy man.
